    Freerealms has a very small download. It’s about 10 minutes on DSL.

    Check out http://mmohut.com for an enormous list of these free mmorpg / mmo games. I use that site to find new games to play. Every week I try a new game =) – It’s a lot of fun. They have like every single MMORPG categorized nicely with reviews, screenshots, videos and more. Heck they even list the game’s system requirements =p. Best part is all the games are free, which rocks.

    They list all the big non-download MMORPGs too on their browser game section.

    My favourite has got to be Fallensword. I’m still playing it, kind of addicted to it now. Browser based, completely free (You can donate to the game to progress your character faster but it’s not absolutely neccessary). Plenty of trading, leveling up, PvP, GvG. Special events. MAssive player base, generally nice people fun and willing to help. Obviously there are certain ‘Bad eggs’ but doesn’t all games have those.. Good admin interaction. The Devs are constantly releasing new content and ideas. Give it a try.
