Question by : Sooo do you think i have what it takes to be a video game programmer or designer?
so i’m 16 and since i was little i always thought it would be really fun to create video games because something about being able to use your imagination, create a whole world with people, and then explore it after you’ve made it just fascinates me. But here are my…qualifications..i guess.
-President and founder of a 3D animations club
-Currently designing and building a game with my friend where i’m in charge of character design, animation, scripting, modeling, and texturing. come to think of it he mainly comes up with the story haha
-I know some c++, c#, python, java, and other languages that wouldn’t really help with game programming so i wont list them
-i have a great imagination
-i love art and creating things
-i actually enjoy programming. like i could sit down and program for several hours on end which i have done before haha
-i love video games
so thats it. and don’t say i have to get a life cause i have a life. i’m on first honors, run cross country, ski, longboard, practice martial arts, take piano lessons and have plenty of friends haha
